Understand Your Event's Needs

Before the big day, we'll meet either at the venue you rented, or...since that isn't always convenient or even possible if they only open on weekends...we'll grab coffee locally and discuss what YOU want to have at your wedding. Need ideas and suggestions?...I've been DJing for over 25 years...I got you.

Guest Demographics

Have a big mix of ages coming? Need clean music? Friends go nuts for 90's hip hop? Think about your friends' tastes, and everyone will have a blast.

Venue Size and Layout

The size and layout of your venue can influence the type of setup you need. A larger venue may require more powerful sound equipment (think louder), while a smaller space might benefit from a more intimate setup.

Need ceremony sound? My pricing includes a wireless mic and stand for the officiant, as well as powered speakers and pre-ceremony music, processional/recessional music, and even family intro music all included in my pricing.

My Present and Past

Most of my DJing is for wedding events, corporate events, and school events. Since I do a lot of teen-based events...my music collection HAS to be current. It also means I have lots of edited music available for events that have young ears at the start of the reception party.

Specialization

Some DJs specialize in specific genres or types of events. I am known as an open format DJ. I like to mix all different types of music. If you have a particular theme or style in mind, let's mix it in!. For example, if your friends all like EDM, that can be the baseline for the night. I have music spanning all eras, genres, and styles. Want a bit of everything?...After 25 years of DJing I know exactly what to play so the dance floor stays packed.

Prepare for the Big Day

As the event date approaches, there's one last step. I like to email the exact tracks that you've selected for special moments like your First Dance or Grand Entrance. You'll listen and make sure it's EXACTLY what you want to hear that day, and then we'll see you at the altar!

Communicate with Your DJ

Keep the lines of communication open with me. You'll have my cell #. Last minute must play from the bridesmaid's sister that now IS coming in from out of town? No problem!

Create a Playlist

A new optional feature I've recently begun offering is the ability to email your guests a link and actually add a track they want played during dinner or cocktail hour. It adds a fun layer to further engage your guests in your big day. Sort of like a wedding juke box, and everybody likes participating.
